A Mohawk Day
Jaxson was a pill today. Nothing could make him happy. He had slept very restlessly the night before, which means that Mom didn't get much sleep either. Heavenly Father knew that if the human race was to continue propegating, He had to give women a fierce feeling of devotion for their children to prevent the women from eating their children after an intense night and even worse day. Of course it's hard to stay mad at a face like this: 
Most days, Jaxson is very happy and fairly easy-going. On these days, he wears his hair combed down and looks like a little gentleman. On the rare day that he is grumpy and gives me a hard time, he wears his hair in a mohawk. If Brian ever wants to gauge my day, he simply has to look at the boy's hair. Tonight the only thing that would make him happy was to play in his bath (with a drop or two of lavender oil). Then his big sister showed up, and he was all smiles and giggles!

Slice of Life
Kylie continues to amaze me with her talent for playing the piano. She works very hard (with Mom looking over her shoulder) to develop that talent. It's so fun to play duets with her and share that experience. The other day she taught her dad how to play a song and it was so sweet to watch.
Jaxson continues to grow and change. He's turning into a little roly poly boy! When he was a newborn he ate every hour. Thankfully, he can now go 2-3 hours between feedings. I still don't get anything done...but how can I with cheeks like his just waiting to be kissed? He woke up from a nap with some crazy hair.
Last night I found Brian and Jaxson dozing on the couch, so peaceful and content.
As I've mentioned before, I never know what I'll find on my digital camera when I download the pictures onto my computer. Kylie is quite the little photographer and it's so fun to see the world through her eyes as she poses her toys and photographs them.
