3rd Grade Ends

At the end of 3rd grade Kylie qualified to Rock the Halls by reading books and taking tests. Way to go Kylie!

It All Comes Off

For months Kylie has thought about cutting her hair. Everyone always asked her if she was growing it out to donate it to Locks of Love. She just really loved her long hair that would fly in the wind as she ran. The more she thought about cutting it, the more she liked the idea, and the more she wanted to donate it to help people fighting cancer. Brian's sister Tracie lost her battle with cancer the previous October, so the subject hit close to home. Kylie cut 15 inches of her hair! And she has absolutely loved it. My cute sister Laura cut her hair and had a harder time making the first cut than Kylie did! 

Health Days

Watching the horse pulls was an exciting addition to the usual Health Days festivities--a team of horses ran out of control around the arena, giving everyone a good scare. You wouldn't know it by looking at her, but Kylie loved watching all the horses! 

Candy

I love this video of Jaxson getting excited about candy. He had a little ritual you had to follow each time: point at the cupboard, pick out the candy, sit on the floor, squeal with excitement, unwrap the candy, then eat it.
