{Insert Clever Title}

Jaxson has invented a new game. He thinks it's hilarious. Me, not so much. It involves crawling in between the sofa table and sofa, wedging himself in so he can't move, screaming for Mom...
...then when Mom drops down on her knees, he grins at me and laughs. I then have to extricate him without causing internal bleeding or pulling off his legs. Good times. Especially while dinner is cooking on the stove.I think he knows that I can't resist this face and am at his total command!
Kylie participated in the 1-mile Turkey Trot with my parents. Don't let the pictures fool you, she had a good time. It had snowed 12 inches the night before, but the sun shone bright for the runners.
Sunday night was a blissful evening. The kids played quietly on the floor and I was able to browse craft blogs on the computer without having to first wait for the kids to be asleep. Kylie was making a gate out of cardboard for her horse game, and Jaxson worked intently on fitting the markers together. I love watching babies explore their world! Technically he's not a baby anymore, he's a 13- month old toddler. In my mind he's still my baby. But then again, so is my 9-year old daughter.

Sisters Are So Fun

I recorded the tail-end of this game, missing the big belly laughs. Jaxson laughed so hard that he nearly fell over. Sisters are so fun!

Jaxson Loves His Yogurt

Jaxson has an obsession: Yogurt. He walks into the pantry, reaches his little hand up to the bottom shelf, grabs a yogurt (or a whole pack), then carries it around the house as he tries to talk me into feeding it to him. This happens at least 10 times a day. Since yogurt isn't the only food group, I only allow him 1 yogurt a day so that he'll try some of the other food groups. He is not happy about this. I had to get some pictures of him carrying his yogurt around, since this is such a common sight. He's also learned to pull a face whenever the camera points at him that is hilarious. This is his new favorite spot: hanging out on the shag rug with his yogurt, especially when the sun is shining through the window.
When the blessed time comes that I say yes to his yogurt pleas, his joy can hardly be contained...or his impatience!

Take two. Memory card filled up the first time, then again the second time.
