Brian's Pictures

In May went to Les Miserables with my family. It was the first time Brian and Kylie had seen it live. I was about Kylie's age the first time I saw it.
Brian has been gone for 6 weeks training with Evergreen Aviation in Oregon. The company flew him to Norway for 10 days to train in a Puma simulator. He took some great pictures during the few minutes he was able to get out.
Soon after he returned to the States from Norway he learned that he would be flying to South Africa for a week to actually fly the Puma for his checkride. While he was there he visited an outdoor historical farm and a cheetah reserve. He said that South Africa reminded him of South/Central Utah. The cheetah was very laid back and relaxed. Steve is another pilot that went to South Africa. He got in there and gave the cheetah a little pet.Brian got in there and gave the cheetah some pets too. He knows the favorite kitty scratching places!Cheetahs even meow and purr like house cats!
Engrish. Gotta love it.He also got to see lions and a couple lion cubs. There was 2 white lions--male and female. Back in Oregon he flew a bit in a Llama doing external load work to show Evergreen his sweet skills. We have no idea what is next. Brian is home for a week or two. At any time the company can call him and tell him he has a flight the next morning to anywhere in the world. He still has additional training to complete before heading over to Afghanistan. In the meantime, we're hoping to close on our home loan this week and start moving in to our beautiful home!
