The American West Heritage Center put on a fantastic Christmas activity with a chocolate tasting bar, homemade candy canes, and visits with Santa Clause.
Jaxson learned that he loves peanut butter. A lot. And he likes to feed it to himself. Now he won't eat anything else.
Brian was able to come home a few days before Christmas. We weren't sure when his flight would come in, so we told Kylie it wouldn't be for another day. His flight came in on time, and he came home and rang the doorbell. When Kylie answered the door, it only took her a second to realize who it was and she jumped into his arms. Jaxson didn't take long to warm up to him either, which surprised me because Brian has been gone since May with just a few days home here and there. He didn't shave the entire time he was in Afghanistan because the bathrooms are so crowded.
