Today is our 6th wedding anniversary. We were married in the Logan LDS Temple and had a beautiful rustic reception in a log cabin in Smithfield Canyon. A big thanks to friends and family who have helped us keep it together this far. It's been rough, but we're making it. Now here we are, our 10th address in 6 years (14th for Brian, at least), we have a beautiful 4 year-old daughter, Kylie AnnaMarie (pictures coming soon), and a kitten named Sallie. It's been very different than we ever imagined. I had no idea Brian would be a helicopter pilot when I married him! I'm learning better each year to trust the Lord and His plan. It's so important to keep the Savior as the center of your relationship. Hopefully each year is better than the last!March 30, 2007

AMEN!!!
First of all, I want to say that I am so happy you took the blogging route, because that means I get to actually learn about what's going on in your life! LOL you know it's true.
I just got back from James/Catie's wedding reception. It was great! Jukes danced with James while wearing his army uniform and hobbling around the dance floor on one foot.
I use livejournal.com/~dregaus for my blog but I haven't been updating it. How do you like this site in comparison?
Bill's starting to charge for his zoning- YAY for him! I need to get some business cards made up for him (for zoning and for the dogs) but I'm trying to figure out how to do the graphic of a french bulldog poking it's head out over the 'pot-o-gold' where the rainbow is pouring in.
One of the two universities I checked out is a private christian university which has several music degrees which actually seem very inviting. It's called Belmont University, mostly Baptist funded, but they seem to be a little more liberal than the strict schools. I *believe* they consider the LDS church an actual church and not a cult, but we'll have to see.
Blah there's an update. I'll think about updating my real blog with pictures of the wedding reception and such :P

Hey Katie,
This is great and I'm happy to hear that you're optimistic. I've learned that when you look on the bright side, things always end up being brighter than they originally seemed. I love the quote at the top of your blog. In fact, I stitched the entire quote into a quilt (you can see it on the 'born to shine' page of my sonlightgirl.com website.)I love you and pray for your health, happiness, and SUCCESS!
Keep spreading sonshine and have a wonderful week,
Connie
Lets get that digital camera working. We want more photos of You All !! :)
