Jaxson has invented a new game. He thinks it's hilarious. Me, not so much. It involves crawling in between the sofa table and sofa, wedging himself in so he can't move, screaming for Mom...
...then when Mom drops down on her knees, he grins at me and laughs. I then have to extricate him without causing internal bleeding or pulling off his legs. Good times. Especially while dinner is cooking on the stove.
I think he knows that I can't resist this face and am at his total command!
Kylie participated in the 1-mile Turkey Trot with my parents. Don't let the pictures fool you, she had a good time. It had snowed 12 inches the night before, but the sun shone bright for the runners.
Sunday night was a blissful evening. The kids played quietly on the floor and I was able to browse craft blogs on the computer without having to first wait for the kids to be asleep. Kylie was making a gate out of cardboard for her horse game, and Jaxson worked intently on fitting the markers together. I love watching babies explore their world! Technically he's not a baby anymore, he's a 13- month old toddler. In my mind he's still my baby. But then again, so is my 9-year old daughter.
