4th of July Weekend and Other Fun

Every Saturday there is a Farmers Market at Merlin Olsen Park in Logan, Utah. Last Saturday, July 4th, my brother and his friends were among the musicians who performed at the market. He asked me to come and record some of his music. You can see the videos I recorded here: http://www.youtube.com/user/moonkatrina1 . We had a great time listening to the music and looking at the many goods to be sold. Kylie was enchanted by all the beaded jewlery and talked me into buying her a rose quartz necklace and a pink toe ring (which she wears on her finger).
Brian is home for 4 days this week, which makes a total of 6 days that we have seen him in the last month. The first day that he was home he was anxious to get up to the farm and haul hay. Kylie had fun climbing a hill of cotton seed, pretending that she was a wolf pup.
This is one of my favorite times of the year in Cache Valley, when the hay has been cut and fills the night air with a soft, sweet scent. The valley is filled with sprinkler pipe glowing in the sunset. I snapped these pictures on our way home from Preston tonight after having a BBQ with Brian's cousin and his family. I live in the most beautiful place on earth!
